Pipefitter/Welder

Rate: £ 10.70 to £ 11.69 (full-time (per hour))
A Sheffield based skilled service provider are keen to recruit a Pipefitter/Welder to join their busy team. Pay rates start at a basic £10.70 per hour plus craft suppliments up to £11.69 per hour plus overtime, 31days holidays per year and use of a compaqny vehicle.
The role involves travelling to UK sites both industrial and commercial environments, plus work within the workshop. Reading and understanding drawings, cutting, screwing, bending and welding of varying sixe between 8mm instrumentation tubing to 18 inch heavy duty pipelines.
Applicants must have a solid pipefitting and welding background, be able to read drawings and handle pipe as small as 8mm up to heavy duty 18 inch pipe line. It is also expected that applicants have a formal qualification such as an NVQ, City and Guilds or equivalent.
The package includes a basic rate of £10.70 per hour plus craft suppliments up to £11.69 per hour plus overtime. Weekly hours are based on 38 standard, but employees are expected to work up to 60 hours a week including some weekends. Holidays are 23 floating plus 8 bank holidays
